Ahrend opens a new flagship store

The official opening on Thursday 19 November 2009 will feature a lecture by cradle-to-cradle guru Michael Braungart, as well as several workshops, an opportunity to visit reference projects, and the launch of the book Aangetoonde effecten van het kantoorinterieur (Demonstrated effects of the office interior), edited by Prof. Dr. Peter Vink of TNO and professor of participatory ergonomics at Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Industrial Design.

16:30 hrs   The guests arrive

17:00 hrs    Parallel workshops by Peter Vink, professor of participatory ergonomics at Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Industrial Design, and Thomas Rau, architect.

18:30 hrs  Lecture by Michael Braungart, co-author of Cradle to Cradle, the leading book on C2C, introducing the principle of 'Waste equals food'.

19:30 hrs Festive opening of the NOW Flagship Store with DJ Miss Rose and presentation of the book Aangetoonde effecten van het kantoorinterieur by Prof. Dr. Peter Vink to Jacq de Bruin, CEO of Royal Ahrend N.V.
